The Canyon That's Not a Canyon

On August 15th, Seth and I got up early and left the North Rim for Bryce Canyon National Park. First we drove to Little's Diesel Repair shop to get the RV checked out. It was the closest place to the North Rim, but it was still 80 miles away. The steering wheel was still shaky on the drive but luckily we made it with no problems. I figured that the issue was a tire balance or alignment problem, so I had the mechanic take the front wheels off. Once he got the first one off he noticed a bulge in the front left tire, meaning that the tire was starting to come apart. That was a bit alarming because I felt like a front tire blowout at high speed could've been pretty dangerous! It was a quick fix though, and within 45 minutes I had two new front tires and was on the way to Bryce.

Bryce was super unique, and the rock formations really surprised me. Since Bryce is actually a an amphitheater, it is technically not a canyon. Picture one side of U shaped with the other side being relatively flat. Seth and I did some good hikes and saw most of the popular features, such as Wall Street, Thor's Hammer, and lots of hoodoos.
