After Bryce Canyon National Park, we were off to Arches National Park in Moab. It was about a four hour drive and a major loss of elevation coming from Bryce, and therefore we didn't notice that it was hot as hell until we got out of the RV at the visitor center. Arches was a smaller park, so we spent the day driving to the popular viewpoints and doing a few short hikes. It was a dry heat so there was some relief in the shade, but shade was pretty hard to come by. In fact, at Arches was the only time a ranger told me explicitly to NOT do a certain hike due to the heat. Some photos of the best formations are below, including delicate arch, the window arches, landscape arch, balanced rock, and sand dune arch.
